K Chess, a happy woman in sunglasses stands in front of an iceberg.

K’s work explores issues of identity and belonging, and the ways people communicate (or fail to communicate) across lines of experience. She enjoys pop culture, casual eavesdropping, and third-person autobiography. She recently changed her name for super-official reasons, and lives in Providence, RI.
